The plan

Your night, minute by minute.

Here’s how the evening goes, so you know exactly what you’re walking into.

6:30pm

Doors open

Find the welcome table, pay your $10 (or show your Eventbrite ticket) and grab a name tag.

7:00pm

Hello, everyone

Eva welcomes the room and explains the only rule: have fun. (Okay, and listen to the calls.)

7:10pm

Your first square

You’ll join a square of eight and learn your first few moves. Most people are surprised how quickly it clicks.

7:45pm

Water and chatter

A breather, a drink and time to actually talk to people. This is the social bit.

8:00pm

New moves, more laughs

A few more calls, a few more mix-ups and a lot more laughing. Mistakes are part of the fun.

9:00pm

See you next week?

Swap names and hear how the Beginner Series works. There’s no pressure to sign up on the spot.

Comfortable shoes on the dance floor

What to bring

Clothes you can move in

Whatever you’d wear for a walk with friends. No costumes, no gingham.

A water bottle

Two hours of moving adds up. Stay hydrated.

Your entry

$10 by cash, check or card at the door, or buy ahead on Eventbrite.

A dancer laughing after a mistake

Feeling nervous?

Two left feet? Bring both.

Everyone in the room remembers their first night. Nobody expects you to know anything, and getting it “wrong” is half the fun.

  • You don’t need to memorize a thing. The caller tells you every move.
  • You won’t be the only beginner. Party Night is made for first-timers.
  • You can sit out any dance, any time. No questions asked.
  • Nobody’s judging. We’re all too busy laughing at our own mistakes.
