The short version: we only collect what we need to organize our dances, and we never sell it.

Who we are
Capital Squares is a square dance club in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this policy, “we” means Capital Squares and “you” means anyone who visits this website or contacts us.
What we collect
When you RSVP, join the waitlist or send a question, we collect what you type into the form: your name, email address, and, if you choose to share them, your phone number, how many people are coming, your dance experience, how you heard about us and your message. We also record the date you contacted us.
How we use it
- To plan our dances and make your name tag.
- To reply to you and send your confirmation.
- To email you about future Party Nights and club news, only if you ticked the box asking us to. You can stop these emails at any time by replying “unsubscribe”.
Where it’s stored
Form submissions are stored in our website’s secure dashboard and sent to our club email inbox at capitalsquares.org. Only club organizers can see them. We keep them for as long as they’re useful for running the club, and we delete them on request.
Other services
- Eventbrite: if you buy a ticket, Eventbrite processes your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Google Maps: the map on our Party Night page is provided by Google, which may set its own cookies.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: if our form shows an “I’m human” check, Cloudflare uses it to block spam.
Cookies
Our website doesn’t use advertising or tracking cookies. If you log in to manage the site, WordPress uses essential cookies to keep you signed in.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you at any time. Just contact us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
